At Optiver, our teams tackle complex coding problems every day — designing algorithms that must perform under the pressure of fast-moving financial markets. Now it’s your turn to take on the challenge. We’re inviting students to join a hands-on workshop where you’ll build a trading algorithm in Python that competes in real-time against other teams on our simulated exchange, Optibook. Your mission? Create an algorithm that helps companies expand into new markets and compete to have the best-performing solution. While PnL (profit and loss) is a factor, it’s not the only criteria we’ll use to determine the winner. This workshop is a simplified but realistic version of our daily work at Optiver.
